Resources & Links

August 24th, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

Our goal is to make our site as useful as possible. To that end, we are seeking to provide links to charity resources, that can help you evaluate us or any other charity; links to sponsors, donors, and other good people who are helping us do for the troops; links to other organizations that do good for the troops; and we also plan to add links to resources that can provide other information of use to you. Suggestions for this are always welcome at our media addy.

Organizations That Do Good

These are a few of the organizations out there that are doing good for the troops. The “Those We Know” category is for organizations that we know and have worked with, while the “Those We Know Of” category is for those we know but have not (yet) worked directly with.

Those We Know
Fisher House
Pin-Ups for Vets
ReMIND
Soldiers’ Angels Germany
USO
Valour-IT

Those We Know Of
Semper Fi Fund

There are more coming, as there are a number of good organizations out there. If you are not on this list and feel you should be, drop us a line at media and tell us who you are and why.

Deserving Thanks!

We particularly want to thank the Jeff High School FIRST Robotics Team, Precision Guessworks, for making Cooking with the Troops one of their community service activities.  The students help with local events and do other activities to help us.  They and their efforts are very much appreciated, and we are glad to support them in their educational efforts.
